The digital display significantly reduces angle adjustment set-up time.
Adjustable Angle Tool Holders
-
The project of the adjustable angle toolholder was born in 2001 from an idea of the president of M.T., Mr. Terenzio Marchetti, , and represents the attitude of innovation and continuous improvement that realized the MT's today reality.
During that times, the driven toolholders producers were manufacturing only radial and axial models, while M.T., looking to the future, designed and manufactured an adjustable angle model , able to reduce the set-up and so rigid to adopt ER40 collets and milling arbors.
During the following years, the competitors of M.T. introduced on the market similar products, but with bad performance resultis, so that some of them simply copied the M.T. project, particularly the locking angle system which is still today a reference point of this product.
The development of M.T. did not stop and we introduced new models with different reduction ratios, new sizes and the possibility to use internal coolant.
-
Today our adjustable angle toolholder is available in more than 90 models and 250 different configurations, like:
-Single, double and triple output
-Speed increasing ratio: 1:1, 1:2
-Possibility to use internal coolant up to 70 bar
-Possibility to use the extra-short Z nuts, lower swing diameter and better surface finishing.
-A successful project became the symbol of the company!
-
To our traditional adjustable angle driven tool holder, we have added an encoder with a digital display to accurately show the angle. The operation of setting the angle is faster and easier, as the correction of angle with the dial gauge inside the machining area is no longer necessary. The angle can now be set outside the machine using the digital display.
